Who We Are
Friends of Berrien County Animal Control (FBCAC) was founded in 2020 to support the work of Berrien County Animal Control by raising funds to enhance the health and wellbeing of animals in their care. With a goal of increasing the number of dogs and cats adopted from the shelter, donated funds will support the following programs:
Emergency Veterinary Treatment
Many animals come into BCAC with life-threatening but treatable injuries like embedded collars or broken legs.
Flea and Tick Medicine
The animals that are in the shelter need medication to prevent flea and tick-borne illnesses.
Spay & Neuter
Reducing the number of unwanted dogs and cats.
Making dogs and cats more adoptable by providing skilled behavioral trainers, socialization and activities.
Assisting families with adoption fees and medical treatments for dogs and cats that they are adopting from BCAC.
Driving dogs and cats around Michigan, Indiana and Illinois to partner rescues and veterinarians.
